The eclipse in Indianapolis will be only a partial eclipse beginning almost at sunset. The eclipse begins at 8:24 PM EDT and the sun sets at 8:56 PM EDT.
The eclipse will begin for us at about 8:28 EDT. The midpoint of the annular portion of the eclipse will be about 9:36 PM EDT. The length of the annular portion of the eclipse will be a bit over 4 minutes for us. I will update these times once our exact location is known, but the variance should be less than 1 minute, unless we must head much farther west.
